A Boater Safety Class will soon take place in Cadillac and while the event is almost a month away now is the time to register The Wexford County Sheriff s Office will hold a Boater Safety Class on Saturday June 6 from 9am until 3pm boaters between 12 and 16 years of age are required to take a class to obtain a Boater Safety Certificate before operating a boat in the State of Michigan While the upcoming class won t take place until June 6 it s the only class that will be offered by the Sheriff s Office this year so those interested in attending are encouraged to register early For more information or to register for the Boat Safety Class you can call the Sheriff s Office at 779-9206
