Mott residents prepare for round two Ice jams like this caused the Cannonball River to flood over the weekend Water is finally slowly receeding These homeowners have a boat on hand to get to their yard This road remains under a couple of feet of water And now rain sprinkles are fallingwith the chance of more heavy snow and rain on the way That could mean Mott Mayor Troy Mosbrucker says this years been similar to 1997with one exception Troy andamp quot I mean I never seen so much water In 97 the water came and went and now it s just hanging here now with us Not running off as well as it was I don t think it is running off as well as it was We got water sitting all over yet and it s gotta drain It s gonna take a few days andamp quot So far 14 homes have been evacuated Mosbrucker says there s another area officials are keeping an eye on Lake Tschida is on the rise He says he s been told it could go up another 10 to 15 feet Mosbrucker says his cabin is on higher ground around the lakeand but worried the water could rise to that level
