Ditch Cleaner


When your home is messy you most likely organize it If your car is dirty you d probably take it through a car wash But when your community has garbage piling up what do you do Brad Feldman shows us one woman doing the natural thing picking it up Sound It s become a morning routine Grab the rake Sound - raking some garbage bags Sound - placing items in bag and hit the highway Sound- car Claudia Ballweber Picking up garbage I look forward to getting up in the morning and coming out I come out for two to four hours and I ussually fill two or three bags full Sound Ballweber s dream of a cleaner community started three months ago Claudia Ballweber Picking up Garbage Well my husband and I were driving home from church one Sunday and weere going down Burnt Boat Road and looking at all of the garbage on the hill and commenting on how bad that looked And I thought you know its too bad somebody doesn t do something about this and decided why not me So she got started She has already cleaned a part of river road twice This hill on Burnt Boat Drive twice And this section of Highway 1804 Claudia Ballweber Picking Up Garbage Its great self satisfactions as well I love driving by and seeing the areas that I have cleaned and think I did that But its what others think of her work she is more concerned about Claudia Ballweber Picking up Garbage Well I hope they are appreciating it and I think they are Because I have gotten a lot of people honking or rolling down their windows and yelling out Thanks or good job Its a mission for Ballweber to make her community clean No matter how long it takes Brad Feldman KX News Ballweber has received some support from the North Dakota Department of Transportation The D-O-T has given her two hundred trashbags to help her with her effots
